What we collect, why we collect it, who else processes it, and how to get it back or get rid of it.

Last updated 7 August 2026

The short version: we collect what we need to run the product and bill you for it. We don't sell your data, and we don't use your private app code to train AI models. Your apps are yours.

01Who we are

Growvior Studio is operated by Growvior Software Private Limited (“Growvior”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in India. This policy covers growvior.com, the Growvior Studio application, and the preview and hosting domains we serve your apps on.

For any privacy question, write to enquiry@growvior.com.

02What we collect

We collect four kinds of information.

  • Account information — your name, email address and profile picture, taken from the sign-up form or from Google or GitHub if you sign in with them. We verify your email address before granting access.
  • Content you create — the descriptions and prompts you write, the code and files in your workspaces, spreadsheets or data you upload, and your chat history with the agent.
  • Usage and billing records — the actions you run, credits and tokens consumed, your plan, and subscription and invoice records.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser and device information, and server logs, kept for security, abuse prevention and debugging.

We do not receive or store your card details. Payments are handled by our payment processor, which collects those directly.

03How AI processing works

To build your app, we send your prompts and the relevant parts of your workspace to Google's Vertex AI (Gemini) for processing. This is what generates your code — it cannot work without it.

  • We do not use your private workspace content to train our own models.
  • If you add your own AI API key, requests made with it go to that provider under your own agreement with them, and we act only as the conduit.
  • Apps you deliberately publish or share as a remix are, by your own choice, visible to the people you share them with.

04Why we use it

  • To run the service — building, previewing, hosting and deploying your apps.
  • To bill you accurately and enforce plan limits.
  • To keep the platform safe: preventing abuse, fraud, and attacks on shared infrastructure.
  • To support you when you ask for help, and to send service email you have not turned off.
  • To improve the product in aggregate — which features are used, where builds fail.
  • To meet legal obligations.

05Who else processes your data

We use a small number of service providers, each only for the purpose listed:

  • Google Cloud & Firebase — hosting, databases, authentication, and Vertex AI for generation.
  • Razorpay — subscription payments and invoices.
  • Brevo — transactional email such as verification codes and build notifications.
  • GitHub — only if you connect your account to export code.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or transfer it as part of a merger or acquisition — in which case this policy travels with it.

06Where your data is held

Our infrastructure runs primarily in Google Cloud regions in India, though some providers process data in other countries. Where information moves across borders, we rely on our providers' standard contractual protections.

07How long we keep it

  • Account and workspace data is kept while your account is active.
  • Workspaces left idle for a long time may be reclaimed, with the retention window depending on your plan. Deployed apps are unaffected.
  • Billing and invoice records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • When you delete your account, we delete your workspaces and personal data, other than records we are legally required to retain. Backups age out on their own cycle.

08Your rights and controls

You can, at any time:

  • Review and edit your profile, and choose what we email you about, in Settings.
  • Export your code to GitHub or download a workspace in full.
  • Delete a workspace, or delete your entire account, from Settings → Security.
  • Ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or object to how we use it — write to enquiry@growvior.com.

We respond to requests within the timeframes set by applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and, where it applies to you, the GDPR.

09Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and local storage for preferences like your theme and default model. These are necessary for the product to function. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

10Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit, workspaces run in isolated containers, access to production is restricted, and every account must verify its email address. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute safety — but if a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

11Children

Growvior Studio is not intended for children. You must be at least 18, or have verifiable consent from a parent or guardian, to hold an account. If we learn we have collected a child's data without that consent, we will delete it.

12Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when our practices change, and revise the date at the top. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll tell you by email or in the product before it takes effect.
